PM Narendra Modi Inaugurate Sikkim First Airport In Pakyong Today Flights Starting From October 4

PM Narendra Modi Inaugurate Sikkim First Airport: Sikkim's 9-year-old dream is finally going to be complete today. 9 years old because the foundation of Sikkim Airport was laid at the same time. PM Narendra Modi has inaugurated the new airport in Pakyong. Commercial flights will begin here from October 4. First flights will go to Guwahati and Kolkata.

Earlier on Sunday, PM Modi said that he will inaugurate the first airport of Sikkim built in Pakyong. He said that the new airport will connect Sikkim to the rest of the country. This will make it easier for the people of the state to come.

PM Modi also spoke about Sikkim's airport after the inauguration. The PM said that this airport in Sikkim has made a century. Interestingly, this is the 100th airport in the country. PM said that the first had to land at the Bagdogra airport in West Bengal. After that, a 100-125-kilometer climb would have to be completed. There was trouble too. But now it will not happen.

The flight which started from Sikkim Airport is also for the common man. That's why we have added it to the flight scheme. Under this, one hour journey will cost 2500 rupees. Say no time is money So now the common people will be comfortable here.

The PM said, now I have just inaugurated the airport. But two flights will start next week. Flights from this airport to Guwahati and Calcutta will be started.
PM Modi said I congratulate the workers and engineers engaged in this work. He has done a great job. I am surprised that the airport has been built over the stream.

With everybody focusing on development, our government is making efforts to make the Northeast a growth engine. Under this, we removed the bottlenecks and gave Sikkim the first airport. With this, the dream of Sikkim is completed.
People who know them will know that a small ship flew about 6 decades ago. After that people had to wait. Now after waiting for so many days, people have got the airport now.

After our government came in 2014, we started at 35 airports in the last 4 years. Whereas in earlier 67 years there were only 65 airports. Accordingly, in the first 67 years of our government coming to an average, only one airport is made every year. After our government came, we started 9 airports in a year.

After independence, only 400 planes operated in 70 years. But we have ordered more than 1,000 planes in one go. This will facilitate the people coming here. The airplanes have arrived for the first time. Rail connectivity has reached for the first time. Electricity has arrived in many places for the first time. Boots are becoming National Highways. The roads in the village are becoming. Large bridges are being built on the rivers. Digital India is expanding.

I have been told that more people come here than Sikkim's population here. Hundred and a half percent of the population here is here every year. I hope this number will increase in the coming year.

The government is making efforts to promote organic farming. This is being done under the traditional agricultural development plan. In the North East, the government has run Mission Organic Value Development for North Eastern Region. For this, around 400 crores have been made. PM Modi, after finishing his talk congratulated the people of Sikkim once again for the new airport.
